Responsibilities
  • Partner with production to conduct process audits, by using experience and data-driven analysis to troubleshoot and improve steelmaking processes, ensuring consistent product quality and efficiency.
  • Diagnose and resolve steel production issues
  • Perform testing and analysis and define improvement actions to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Serve as the technical liaison for customers and sales teams.
Requirements
  • Possess Degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science or related engineering fields.
  • Experience in a metallurgical role within a steel plant (preferred) or similar heavy-industry setting will be added advantage.
  • Proven track record of implementing process improvements and quality control initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply metallurgical data to drive process improvements.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of training teams and interfacing with customers
