Meet The Team
Overall electrical inspection, switching, review switching procedure and key competent person (BO 33kV) for Dexcom Malaysia. Building maintenance management which includes equipment (Lift, Roller Shutter & Dock Leveller system) in support of manufacturing operation.
Where You Come In
- Responsible for operating, monitoring and maintaining corrective, preventive & predictive maintenance of plant utilities and facilities equipment, mainly focusing on electrical, including MV and LV.
- Attend, perform and monitor all switching procedures.
- Understand and provide input/coaching for new electrical single line diagrams or higher diagrams regarding the new building or design.
- Design and develop electrical systems and components, creating detailed schematics and blueprints.
- Perform testing & troubleshooting, conducting tests to ensure systems meet specifications, identifying and resolving technical issues, and ensuring the quality of installations.
- Coordinate with other engineers and contractors, managing project timelines and budgets, and ensuring projects meet requirements.
- Coordinate and be responsible to support the equipment qualification such as walk down, punch list commissioning, IQ/OQ/PQ during startup.
- Plan ahead on execution of work orders from system and record job performed via Maximo/CMMS including sensor calibrations. Set the priority on the work orders for technicians to execute.
- Manage a team of building maintenance team.
- Plan maintenance & repair, addressing issues with building systems like Lift, Roller Shutter and Dock Leveller system.
- Plan preventive maintenance, implementing and managing scheduled maintenance programs to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal system performance.
- Oversee and coordinate maintenance projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Regularly inspect and test building systems to identify potential problems and ensure they are operating efficiently.
- Ensure that all maintenance and repair work adheres to relevant safety regulations and standards.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned by Facilities Operation Manager.
What Makes You Successful
- Must have BO 33kV chargeman certification.
- Good in supervising and able to work together with technicians.
- Good knowledge in maintenance skills.
- Able to work independently, provide coaching to peers/technicians and report all job status to Facilities Operation Manager.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Potentially required to work in shift.
- Ability to interact with different level people or employees in same or different organization.

- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree with 5-8 years of industry experience.
