Executive – Trade Operations, Johor Bharu

Overview

We are seeking a detail‑oriented candidate to manage our trade transaction processing through the TE2000 system. This role involves diligently checking and ensuring the proper authorization of all relevant trade documents before their submission for approval, where necessary. Furthermore, the responsibilities include performing crucial balancing, reconciliation, self‑audit, and housekeeping of reports, along with proactive follow‑up on any outstanding items.

This role will report to Head of Trade Services Centre, Johor Bharu.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify and approve trade activities within the TE200 system.
• Confirm that the funding of trade deals matches the client's business type.
• Communicate with HL Markets and clients concerning exchange rates, Banker's Acceptance (BA) rates, and Export Credit and Other Financing (ECOF).
• Support on‑site audits at client locations for the summary of invoices related to Banker's Acceptances.
• Guarantee adherence to all relevant rules, processes, and company regulations.
• Handle the processing of Islamic trade transactions specifically for Hong Leong Islamic Bank Berhad.
• Adhere to established deadlines for completing transaction processing.

Jobholder Requirements

• Malaysian citizen
• Relevant Diploma / Degree in Business Administration, Economics, International Banking or equivalent
• 3 years and above relevant experience in Trade Operations
