Plan, organize, and manage university sports programs, tournaments, leagues, and recreational activities for students.

Coordinate participation in inter-university, national, and external sports competitions.

Oversee the selection, training schedules, and preparation of university sports teams in collaboration with coaches and trainers.

Ensure sports activities are inclusive, well coordinated, and aligned with student developement goals.

Facility & Equipment Management

Manage the scheduling, usage, and maintenance of sports facilities, courts, fields, and equipment.

Ensure sports facilities and activities comply with safety regulations and institutional policies.

Monitor inventory, procurement, and proper usage of sports equipment and supplies.

Leadership & Team Coordination

Lead and supervise sports officers, coaches, trainers, and student volunteers.

Provide guidance and support to student sports clubs and associations.

Foster leadership development, teamwork, and sportsmanship among student athletes.

Event Planning & Sports Promotional

Plan and manage major sports events such as Sports Day, tournaments, friendly matches, and wellness-related initiatives.

Promote sports participation and healthy lifestyles through campaigns, workshops, and engagement activities.

Collaborate with student bodies, clubs, and marketing teams to enhance visibility and participation in sports programs.

Budgeting & Administration

Prepare and manage budgets for sports program, events, facilities, and equipment.

Monitor expenditures and ensure cost - effective use of allocated resources.

Prepare proposals, reports, and documentation related to sports activities and performance outcomes.

Colloboration & Stakeholder Engagement

Work closely with academic faculties, student affairs teams, and management to integrate sports into student development initiatives.

Liaise with external sports organizations, governing bodies, vendors, and partners.

Ensure compliance with rules, regulations, and requirements set by sports associations or governing bodies.

Ensure risk assessment are conducted for sports activities and events.

Implement safety protocols, emergency response procedures, and insurance requirements.

Address disciplinary matters, code of conduct issues, and athlete welfare concerns in accordance with university policies.
