Specialised Consultant (Audit Technology), Southeast Asia

Take the next step in your consulting career with our APAC Professional Services team. You will represent CCH Professional Software in Southeast Asia, working closely with regional and global teams to deliver impactful technology solutions for accounting and audit professionals. This role combines consulting expertise with audit and product knowledge, enabling you to drive successful implementations, support client success, and contribute to product development initiatives.

You will engage in diverse consulting assignments, assist in pre-sales activities, and manage projects that enhance client efficiency and satisfaction. This position offers a stimulating environment to deepen your consulting capabilities and grow your professional expertise.

This is a full-time permanent position, based in Menara Great Eastern 2, Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur (hybrid working, working from home 3 days per week) #LI-Hybrid

About the Role
  • Partner with clients to ensure successful implementation of CCH software solutions.
  • Support the sales team with CCH software demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of competitive products and maintain technical analysis of strengths and weaknesses.
  • Review client processes and propose improvements to streamline workflows.
  • Assist in planning process and technology changes with clients.
  • Organize and deliver training sessions for client teams
  • Configure and set up software, liaising with technical specialists as needed.
  • Provide post-implementation support to ensure adoption and satisfaction.
  • Manage client expectations regarding time and resource investment.
  • Coordinate product upgrades and deliver refresher training sessions.
  • Manage project-related communications with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Gather and prioritize client feedback for new functionality.
  • Proactively suggest improvements to enhance product performance.
  • Travel required: Up to 25% in Southeast Asia (Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, etc)
About You
  • Minimum 2 years of audit experience; degree/diploma in business (accounting or finance preferred); CPA, ACCA certifications are a plus
  • Client-Facing Skills: minimum 1 year in a client-facing role
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to conduct detailed data analysis and interpret results.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written English communication skills for client engagement and reporting.
  • Project Coordination: Experience managing timelines and tracking milestones.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of audit processes and accounting firm operations.
  • Technical Proficiency: Intermediate knowledge of relevant software tools and systems.
  • Collaboration: Effective teamwork and stakeholder management skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Resourceful and confident in resolving client challenges.
  • Training & Facilitation: Skilled in delivering presentations and training sessions.
