Responsibilities

Product Development & Delivery

• Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts to clarify, refine, and deliver functional requirements.

• Translate functional requirements into well‑structured technical designs and implementations.

• Work with architecture teams to design and evolve components within the product suite.

• Contribute to sprint and release planning, including effort sizing and estimation for assigned areas.

• Implement correct, performant, and reliable code that meets specifications and delivery timelines.

Quality, Testing & Reliability

• Take ownership of code quality within your scope, including unit, functional, and integration testing.

• Design, implement, and maintain automated tests to ensure software quality and reduce regressions.

• Review code changes and contribute to team‑wide code review and testing practices.

• Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and drive defect closure.

• Continuously improve test coverage and overall product quality.

DevOps & Operational Excellence

• Support the development, maintenance, and improvement of CI/CD pipelines.

• Apply DevOps practices to improve build, deployment, and operational reliability.

• Work closely with Operations to ensure smooth deployments and stable production environments.

• Develop and improve operational procedures to enhance system maintainability and performance.

Collaboration & Communication

• Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams including Engineering, Product Management, Support, and Consulting.

• Write and maintain clear technical documentation for audiences with varying levels of expertise.

• Contribute to design discussions and influence system designs, particularly from a quality and testability perspective.

• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to engineering practices, tooling, and efficiency.
