We are seeking a highly creative and dynamic Social Media Marketing Executive to elevate the brand presence and drive enrollment for Erican Language Centre across all digital platforms. This hands‑on role requires a blend of marketing strategy, community engagement, and end‑to‑end multimedia production skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, shooting, and editing compelling video content that showcases our engaging learning environment, teacher quality, student success stories, and various language programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Concept Development: Ideate and script engaging video content that promotes language learning, highlights cultural programs, features quick language tips/lessons, and showcases the student experience.
- Video Shooting: Act as the in‑house videographer to film high‑quality, short‑form video content (e.g., TikToks, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts) and longer‑form content (e.g., Vlogs, Testimonials). Basic lighting and audio setup for on‑location shoots are required.
- Post‑Production: Execute all video editing tasks, including adding subtitles (essential for a language centre), graphics, motion text, music, and ensuring all content is optimized for platform‑specific viewing (aspect ratios, length, etc.).
- Photography: Capture high‑quality still photos of classes, events, and campus life for use on social media and other marketing materials.
Social Media Management & Publishing
- Content Calendar: Develop and manage a comprehensive social media content calendar across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube, ensuring consistent posting frequency.
- Posting & Optimization: Publish content at optimal times, ensuring all posts include compelling copy, relevant hashtags, and clear Calls‑to‑Action (CTAs) that encourage course inquiries or sign‑ups.
- Copywriting: Craft persuasive and grammatically correct captions and ad copy, often requiring bilingual or multilingual awareness to target specific student demographics.
- Community Engagement: Actively monitor, moderate, and respond to comments and Direct Messages (DMs) across all channels, providing excellent customer service and converting inquiries into leads for the sales team.
- Social Listening & Trends: Stay up‑to‑date with the latest social media trends, viral audio, and platform algorithm changes, pivoting content strategy quickly to maximize reach.
- Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on key social media metrics (engagement, reach, traffic, and conversion rates for language course sign‑ups) to inform future strategy.
