A dynamic media agency in Selangor is looking for a Social Media Manager to oversee accounts for multiple brands. You will create engaging content, handle community interactions, and coordinate with internal stakeholders. The role requires posting consistency, basic video editing skills, and an understanding of social media engagement. Occasional weekend events and travel may be necessary, but will be planned in advance. Ideal candidates are creative and familiar with design tools such as Canva and Adobe.
Manage social media accounts for multiple brands within the group
Execute social media content based on clear direction and guidelines provided
Publish a minimum of 2 posts per brand per week
Create simple content (caption-only posts, basic visuals, reposts, short updates)
Use tools such as Canva / Adobe / Photoshop for basic content creation
Edit short-form videos / reels (basic editing only)
Liking and commenting on relevant posts
Following relevant accounts and pages
Engaging with industry-related content
Reply to comments and messages where required
Coordinate internally to gather updates and content
Keep internal stakeholders updated on posting status and progress
Support selected events, activations, or company activities when required
Capture simple images and short videos for social media updates
Events may occasionally fall on weekends or involve outstation travel
