Job summary

A construction safety management firm in Malaysia is seeking a committed Safety and Health Officer to support SHE activities and ensure compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, at least 2 years of experience in safety roles for high-rise construction projects, and relevant certifications. Responsibilities include managing safety reports, risk management, and conducting training sessions. This role provides an opportunity to contribute to a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Min 2 years working experience in safety roles related to high-rise construction projects.
• Must obtain Green Book/Yellow Book Certification by Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) & Green Card.
• Understanding of the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 1994.

JOB SCOPE

• Support the Safety and Health Officer in implementing SHE activities and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Prepare and submit Safety and Health reports to authorities.
• Assist in risk management to reduce operational losses, health issues, and accidents.
• Manage the Permit to Work system for critical on‑site activities.
• Participate in daily toolbox meetings to ensure effective risk communication.
• Conduct training and awareness sessions on HSSE.
• Perform other ad‑hoc duties assigned by immediate superior/Management as and when required.

REQUIREMENTS

• Candidate must possess Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH).
• Min 2 year(s) working experience in safety roles related to high‑rise construction projects.
