Job Summary:
The Rider Acquisition Executive is responsible for sourcing, engaging, and onboarding new delivery riders for Shopee’s logistics network. This role focuses on outreach, screening, and ensuring that all applicants meet Shopee’s operational and compliance requirements. The position involves both outbound calling and on-ground recruitment activities to achieve rider acquisition targets efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct outbound calls to potential riders to promote Shopee’s delivery platform and explain the registration process.
Manage end-to-end recruitment, including screening, documentation, and onboarding of new riders.
Collaborate with marketing and field teams to plan and execute recruitment drives in key areas.
Maintain accurate and updated records of candidate information in the CRM system.
Follow up with interested candidates to ensure completion of registration and training.
Achieve weekly and monthly recruitment targets as set by management.
Identify challenges in recruitment and propose process improvement solutions.
Support operational and HR teams in verifying applicant documents and eligibility (license, insurance, vehicle ownership, etc.).
Provide timely reports on recruitment progress, conversion rates, and challenges.
Uphold Shopee’s brand and communication standards during candidate engagement.
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Marketing, or related field.
At least 1–2 years of experience in recruitment, telesales, customer service, or field operations (experience in rider/delivery acquisition preferred).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English (Mandarin/Tamil is a plus).
Confident in making outbound calls and handling large candidate databases.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, and CRM tools.
Result-oriented, proactive, and able to work under minimal supervision.
Willing to work flexible hours or weekends during peak recruitment periods.
Performance Metrics:
Number of successful rider sign-ups and activations
Conversion rate from leads to active riders
Accuracy and timeliness of data submission
Compliance with Shopee onboarding and verification standards
