About the role

We are an established retail (convenience store) company in Cyberjaya, Selangor. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Retail Shop Supervisor to join our team. As a Retail Shop Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring a seamless and efficient shopping experience for our customers. This is a full-time position based in our Cyberjaya location.

What you’ll be doing
  • Supervising and coordinating the work of store staff, including cashiers, sales assistants, and stockroom personnel at various locations around Cyberjaya.
  • Ensuring that all store procedures and policies are followed, including customer service, merchandising, and inventory management.
  • Monitoring and analysing store performance metrics, such as sales, customer traffic, and inventory levels, and implementing strategies to improve store performance.
  • Handling customer inquiries and complaints, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assisting in the implementation of marketing and promotional campaigns to drive sales.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised store environment.
  • Providing training and development opportunities for store staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • SPM/STPM/Diploma/Degree.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a retail supervisory role or a related position.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a passion for providing a great shopping experience.
  • Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities, with the ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations.
  • Proficient in inventory management, sales reporting, and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with retail technology, such as point‑of‑sale systems and inventory management software.
  • A strong understanding of retail best practices and industry trends.
  • Possess own transport.
