Job summary

A logistics and export firm seeks a dedicated team member to assist with order processing and shipment coordination. This role involves managing customs clearance and ensuring compliance with Malaysian regulations. The ideal candidate will liaise with both internal teams and external freight partners to ensure timely deliveries. Experience in import and export industries is an advantage. The position requires proactive communication and the ability to handle regulatory documentation efficiently.

Qualifications

• Experience in a relevant industry, preferably in import and export.
• Familiarity with Malaysian regulations and customs procedures.
• Ability to coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders.

Job description

Assist the export team with order processing, including order confirmation and submission, shipment planning, and coordination with both internal and external parties to ensure timely delivery to the customers.

Handle customs clearance, permits, duty exemptions; ensure compliance with Malaysian regulations and incoterms; coordinate with government bodies for legal / regulatory requirements.

Liaise with internal teams (production, procurement, account & warehouse) and external parties (freight forwarders, agents, customers). Track shipment status; follow up to avoid delays.

Ensure compliance with customs regulations and company policies.

Attend to the authorized department (FMM, MITI, CUSTOM & etc) to submit the related documents.

Experience in a relevant industry (e.g., Import & export-oriented companies) is advantageous.

Any other ad hoc duties assign by management from time to time.
