Job summary

A leading logistics company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a professional to manage supplier relationships, handle customer inquiries, and oversee export documentation processes. The ideal candidate should hold a degree in Business Administration or related fields, possess at least 3 years of relevant experience, and have good knowledge of Letter of Credit and shipping operations. The role offers the chance to work closely with multiple teams to ensure smooth service delivery and compliance with legal regulations.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in handling chemicals/palm oil export documentation for executive level.
  • Fresh graduates encouraged to apply for officer level.
  • Familiarity with shipping operations and documentation is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Establish supplier relationship management processes.
  • Act as front desk handling customer enquiries and requests.
  • Liaise with transport companies for timely shipments.
  • Ensure compliance of shipping documents with regulations.
  • Support sales managers with customer order issues.

Job description

Establishing supplier relationship management processes and continuous improvement goals/programs.

Candidate will be required to act as front desk of the company in daily basis to handle enquiry and request from customer. He or she may also request to work closely with overseas suppliers, export team, finance team to ensure proper service delivery, shipping and invoicing.

Liaise with internal and external transport companies/departments for timely in-coming/ out-going shipments.

Ensure prompt delivery of products to the buyer.

Eyes on 3rd party documents application status from overseas and acquire in time. Ensure all shipping documents comply to legal regulations and company policy before document presents to either customer or bank.

Knowledge with Letter of Credit (LC) preferable. Candidates will be responsible for review incoming LC, analyse credit worthiness of the LC and minimize risk of bad debts.

He/she will be required to support traders or sales manager to manage issues that affect customer’s order if there is any.

Education/Experience

Degree in Business Administration / Supply Chain / Logistics or any other related fields.

At least 3 years experiences in handling chemicals/palm oil export documentations, to be considered for executive level

Freshgraduatesareencouragedtoapply and will be considered for officer level

Good knowledge in Letter of Credit and incoterm

Familiarity with container, flexibag, isotank, bulk shipments and operations, is an added advantage.

Strong problem solving and analytical skill is essential.
