Job description
Overview

You will be accountable for overall growth of GSI service business in APAC Region. The growth shall be in field of Long Term Service Agreement (LTSA), Refurbishment Services and Brown Field projects for Grid Systems Integration (GSI) APAC Region. Special focus on HVDC , FACTS and other than RME of ACS is desired. You shall be responsible to secure a significant share of this growing Services market across the Region, in coordination with the GSI Sales & Tendering teams. You are required to contribute strongly to the Region’s strategic positioning on the Services market and to the pipeline creation & management and is accountable to develop strong customer relationships and involved in critical negotiations.

Responsibilities
  • Develop a strategy to maximize profitable growth for GSI Services opportunities in APAC based on market trends and knowledge.
  • Ensure that Sales/Cash/CM objectives and/or stretches to be taken by each of the projects so to ensure PL financial objectives
  • Possess knowledge of comprehensive and structured view of the Services market in APAC Region, its segmentation, its volume, and its trends.
  • Translate the market opportunities into concrete commercial action plans.
  • Work closely with the sales and tendering teams for Services pipeline identification, management and demand creation and ensure engagement with customers from early stages of demand definition.
  • Responsible for handling the RFI as well as cooperating with the commercial team for all demand shaping / business development activities for Services
  • Prioritize Services opportunities in terms of winning chances, profitability, cash, and risk profile, while also ensuring that the Services pipeline generation is continuously aligned to deliver the defined strategy, budget, and latest forecasts on a quarterly basis.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership with the ability to motivate & inspire as well as proven mentoring and coaching abilities.
  • Prepare and validate forecast for revenue, profits and PMR for business in Monthly/ Quarterly meetings and ensure delivery of the same for the region.
  • Monitoring cash management and PD, Deferred charges, Retention and collection of dues.
  • Creation of a strong customer connect and customer satisfaction for repetitive business generation
Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree with minimum 12 years of relevant experience in Flexible Alternating Current Systems (FACTS) or High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) transmission systems and Alternating Current systems
  • Extensive years of work experience in commercial, sales and/or marketing functions.
  • Experience of P&L management with focus to drive revenue and profitability with EHS and compliance at the core of it.
  • Experience of Energy & Industry market
  • Customer-centric mindset, able to translate customer issues/needs into profitable business solutions.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and leadership.
  • Excellent strategic thinker who can translate business development challenges into opportunities.
  • Self-starter, excellent team player and ability to maintain can-do attitude all cycle of business.
  • Successful experience of working with multi-cultural teams, displaying inclusive behavior with success in remote relationship.
