Job summary

A company specializing in air compression solutions is looking for an experienced engineer to support onshore and offshore activities, including servicing and troubleshooting products. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Engineering (Electrical & Mechanical) and has at least three years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include providing technical advice, managing projects on site, and ensuring timely completion. A proactive and self-motivated individual is preferred for this full-time position based in Selangor, Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience in a similar field.
• Experience with wiring and instrumentation is a plus.
• Proactive and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and troubleshooting onshore/offshore.

Job description

Responsible for onshore/offshore support activities such as routine servicing, troubleshooting, start‑up and commissioning of our products.

Provide backup for all the after sales support activities such as routine servicing, troubleshooting, start‑up and commissioning of our products.

Provide co‑ordination work for projects.

Full time stationed at project site (when necessary) to monitor on‑site work progress.

Attending site meetings and site clarifications

Provide technical advice to sales team, customer and contractor on installation requirement.

Serve as liaison/contact between customers and contractors for installation requirements, services needs and supports.

Manage closed projects, includes supervising proper delivery of all equipment and positioning on site. On site supervising to ensure proper pipe, electrical, ducting installations and that proper ventilation of the compressed air station is taken care of.

Ensure all projects progress are on time or according to schedule.

Manage and conduct air demand and flow analysis (when necessary)

Organize and arrangement of Shop Test / Internal Test / Factory Acceptance Test

To provide training to customers and colleagues

Requirements:

Degree Holder in Engineering (Electrical & Mechanical)

Minimum three years experience in similar field

Work experience in providing Electrical diagram, datasheets, wiring, instrumentation, PLC programming and technical support for customized solutions/automation is an added advantage.

Detailed and good follow through to ensure all tasks are completed.

Proactive, self-motivated, independent and able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Pleasant personality and ability to interact with all levels.
