We are seeking an experienced Senior Traffic Engineer to join our growing Malaysia-based team which covers work domestically as well as across the SE Asia region and other overseas markets. We are seeking staff with ideally between 4‑10 years' experience in traffic and transport projects to lead projects including the application of traffic engineering principles such as traffic assessment studies, development advisory studies, temporary traffic management plans, etc. Working knowledge of software tools including CAD, GIS, SIDRA, simulation software, and Microsoft tools is expected, as well as an ability to work as part of an integrated team of staff.

Responsibilities

• Between 4‑10 years’ experience with the application of traffic engineering principles such as traffic assessment studies, development advisory studies, temporary traffic management plans, etc.
• Working knowledge of software tools including CAD, GIS, SIDRA, simulation software and Microsoft tools.
• Ability to work in a team and guide others in the use of the above software, perform related analytical tasks in traffic engineering and stay well‑versed in the latest techniques and trends.
• Ability to independently carry out tasks or project management, including liaising effectively with clients, stakeholders and partners on project requirements, expectations and coordination where required.
• Provide technical expertise in traffic engineering.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in related disciplines: Civil/Traffic Engineering, Mathematics, Urban Planning/Design, Geography or equivalent.
• Master’s Degree will be considered favourably.
• Good communication (written & spoken) skills in English.
