The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the medical industry, experience with ISO13485, and the ability to negotiate supplier contracts. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple projects and ensure compliance with purchasing standards.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Sourcing for new materials/suppliers to support all innovation Projects, Request for Quotation, Cost analysis, Price comparison, price negotiations, supplier evaluation, supplier selection, contract management, Procurement manager for projects.
• Ensure product cost within product cost target and meeting Time to Market.
• Cost Saving/ Cost reduction & Spend consolidation on direct spend.
• Localization, qualification & consolidation of direct suppliers.
• Development agreement, Supply agreement & tooling agreement/contract drafting, negotiation, renewal (payment terms, Incoterms, pricing, MOQ, etc).
• Supplier Performance Monitoring & driving supplier's improvement (Delivery, Quality & Cost).
• Ensure 100% compliance to Purchasing QHBs.
• Expediting for shipments for urgent deliveries.
• Supplier visits, audits coordination, responsible for overall supplier relationship and management.

Requirements

• Detailed, organized and enthusiastic about project deliverables.
• Negotiation savvy, able to foster positive business relationships with suppliers.
• Willing to go extra miles to achieve Project KPIs (cost, TTM).
• Technical & have vast experience in sourcing for medical industries, ISO13485 knowledge is compulsory.
• Able to support several projects in parallel (Innovation/Cost Saving/Design Changes, etc).
• Strong initiative and ability to work in self-directed and teamwork environment.
