A technology company in Johor Bahru is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to drive business growth and build strong customer relationships in the automation sector. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, promoting a wide range of products, and providing support to existing customers. The ideal candidate should possess experience with automation-related products and strong technical competency, further enhanced through product training. We represent established global brands including Fujifilm Prescale, Contrinex, Micropump, Karcher, APT, Stabilus/ACE, Destaco, Montrac, As-One, So-Low, American Ultraviolet, and others.
Our customers are primarily multinational manufacturers, machine builders, and system integrators. We actively participate in industry exhibitions such as Semicon KL and PMax, and we aim to continue strengthening our presence in Malaysia with dedicated and capable talent.
The Sales/Senior Sales Engineer is responsible for driving business growth by building strong customer relationships, understanding customer needs, and promoting the range of products we represent.
Identify new business opportunities and develop new customer accounts across industries.
Promote and sell a variety of automation and technical products including proximity sensors, filters, conveyors, pumps, motors, switches, light indicators, laboratory supplies, UV curing systems, ultra-low freezers, torque drivers, and fabricated items.
Provide support for existing customers, including handling enquiries, processing purchase orders, coordinating deliveries, and managing feedback or issue resolutions.
Deliver first-level technical and sales support in response to customer requirements.
Work closely with partners and internal teams to meet customer expectations and project requirements.
Understand customer needs and analyze competitors to develop effective sales strategies.
Experience in automation-related products such as DC/AC motors, sensors, drives, pumps, switches, I/O & motion controllers, conveyors, or similar equipment.
Product training will be provided internally and through our principals and partners to build strong technical competency.
