Senior Sales & Application Engineer | IIoT

We are looking for a Sales Executive / Sales & Application Engineer (SmartMES) who is driven, consultative, and comfortable engaging customers to translate manufacturing challenges into practical MES solutions. This role focuses on solution sales, customer engagement, and proposal-driven closing.
Responsibilities
- Engage and close orders from leads or existing users of SmartMES.
- Regular servicing of existing customers.
- Establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential customers.
- Able to make sales presentations to audiences from 1 or more.
- Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential pipeline.
- Submits quotation and close orders-based price lists and product literature.
- Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual analysis.
- Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
- Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by learning SmartMES; reviewing manufacturing publications; establishing personal networks; work with FMM or equivalent organisations to find leads.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing targets assigned.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
- Required language(s): English, Mandarin
- Have good business communication skills; presentation skills will be an added advantage.
- Experience with one or more of the following systems is required: MES technologies, CitectScada/Cimplicity, Historian, Siemens/Schneider/GE PLC, SQL. Programming will be added advantage.
- At least 1-2 years working in Sales with experience in Project Sales, preparing tender or proposal.
- Experience in software development, programming, or engineering discipline but not mandatory.
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively under tight schedule and pressure.
- Willing to travel.
