Job summary

A leading construction firm in Malaysia seeks a Junior/Senior Quantity Surveyor to prepare tender documents and manage contracts and budgets. Responsibilities include liaising with various professionals, tracking project costs, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Candidates should have a degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent, with at least 2 years of experience preferred. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of working experience in construction or equivalent.
  • Fresh graduates or internship candidates are welcome.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documents.
  • Handle pre and post contract of a project.
  • Review construction plans and prepare quantity requirements.
  • Procure services of contractors/subcontractors for construction.
  • Prepare comparison and Letter of Award.
  • Prepare monthly interim claims based on actual work done.
  • Liaise with clients and construction professionals.
  • Prepare monthly reports, analyses, contracts, and budgets.
  • Travel to various sites for evaluations and meetings.
