Job summary

A construction and project management company is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to prepare project documentation, track design changes, and monitor project costing. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying and at least 5 years of experience in the construction industry. Strong interpersonal, communication, and financial management skills are essential. This role involves responsibilities in both pre and post-tendering works, along with collaboration across teams to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Possess 5 years of proven experience in a similar industry or construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement methodologies, and cost control techniques.
• Excellent numerical and financial management skills, as well as exceptional communication and negotiation skills are highly a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project bill of quantity, costing, quotation/tender documents to customers.
• Track changes to the design and adjust budget projections accordingly.
• Monitor project work to ensure compliance with the budget.
• Understand tender requirements and drawings.
• Prepare and submit performance management reports to the Commercial Manager.
