Job summary

A solar energy service provider in Petaling Jaya is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to manage tender processes and project costing. Key responsibilities include preparing bills of quantities, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring accurate project costing. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in quantity surveying and possess strong teamwork and time management skills. Experience in the solar energy industry will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bill of quantities including quantity take-off, materials sourcing, and estimating costs.
• Liaise with suppliers for material purchases.
• Responsible for cost calculation and project costing according to BQ.
• Check and verify invoices from suppliers.

Sources and prepares information for participation in tender exercise including measurement, inviting quotations, costing report and submission of tender

Prepares bill of quantities which involves quantity take-off, materials sourcing, measuring and estimating material and labour costs used in the tendering process;

Responsible for cost calculation, project costing accordingly to BQ

Liaise with Suppliers (Local & Oversea)

Liaise with Project & Design Team on all material purchase related matters

Liaise with Project & Design Team on all BQ related works

Check and verify invoices from suppliers

Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the Management
