Job Description / Responsibilities:
  • Project oversight: Handle quantity surveying responsibilities throughout the entire project lifecycle, ensuring smooth execution and successful completion.
  • Financial management: Prepare cost breakdowns, project tenders, and budget plans, as well as manage progress claims and final accounts to maintain financial accuracy.
  • Stakeholder engagement: Attend key meetings, including tender interviews, site valuations, and negotiations with clients or main contractors on project-related matters.
  • Subcontractor management: Negotiate pricing and award sub-contracts, ensuring optimal value for the company.
  • Team coordination: Work closely with site personnel to monitor work progress and status, fostering effective communication across project teams.
Job Requirements:
  • Diploma / Advanced / Higher / Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
  • At least 3 - 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Familiar with contract administration and contractual methods.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Experience working with a consultant will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Possess good negotiation skills, meticulous, independent, and able to work in fast-pace environment.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contract, project management, negotiation strategies and procurement best practices.
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines, complex schedules and project resources effectively.
  • Demonstrate depth of experience in a contractual and commercial role with construction sector.
