Job summary

A leading quality management service in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Quality Manager with at least 5 years of experience in Quality Control and Assurance specifically in the railway industry. The role includes maintaining quality programs, conducting audits, and liaising with stakeholders. Ideal candidates must hold a Degree or Diploma in Engineering and have experience managing Railways Electromechanical system quality.   • Maintain and implement quality program for the activities in the Division/Department/Project to meet the Division/Department/Project quality objectives and goals.
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, partners and regulatory bodies on standards and requirements.
  • Plan & Implement the Quality control inspections in Division/Department/Project and if applicable, lead a team of QC personnel for this function.
  • Schedule and perform quality audit on Division/Department/Project quality program for QMS as well as Project level.
  • Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformity relating to the product, process and quality system.
  • Identify and record any problem relating to the product, process and quality system.
  • Initiate, recommend or provide solutions to product and process quality issues through designated channels.
  • Verify the implementation of solutions to any problem relating to the product, process and quality system.
  • Control further processing, delivery or installation

Job Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Engineering with at least 5 years of experience in Quality
  • Control/Quality Assurance in railway industry.
