Senior Process Engineer/Process Engineer (MLCC)

The Process Engineer will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and sustaining manufacturing processes for Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors (MLCC). This role focuses on improving yield, quality, and efficiency while ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement robust processes for MLCC production, including slurry preparation, tape casting, screen printing, stacking, lamination, and sintering.
  • Optimize process parameters to improve product performance and reduce defects.
  • Analyze production data to identify root causes of defects and implement corrective actions for yield and quality improvement.
  • Develop and maintain SPC (Statistical Process Control) and DOE (Design of Experiments) for process stability.
  • Work closely with R&D, Quality, and Production teams to support new product introduction and continuous improvement.
  • Provide technical support for customer audits and inquiries.
  • Prepare and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and control plans.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO, IEC, and automotive standards (e.g., AEC-Q200).
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in Materials Science, Chemistry or Engineering, etc.
  • 3+ years of previous working experience in the process engineering area.
  • Having experience with MLCC production is preferred.
  • Familiar with Six Sigma, SPC, DOE, IATF16949, etc.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office software. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
