Job summary

A leading construction firm in Johor is seeking an experienced Project Planning and Scheduling Engineer to lead the planning and scheduling of structural and infrastructural works. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering, a minimum of 5 years’ experience in project planning, preferably on large-scale infrastructure projects, and strong analytical and coordination skills. This role includes responsibilities such as preparing progress reports, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Willingness to work on-site and commit to a six-day workweek is essential.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in project planning, preferably within large-scale infrastructure or MRT projects.
  • Possess own transport and willing to be based on-site in Johor Bahru.
  • Able to commit to 6 working days, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, scheduling, and optimization of structural and infrastructural works.
  • Review and analyze construction drawings and specifications.
  • Develop, update, and monitor project schedules.
  • Identify and resolve potential delays, preparing action plans.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate progress reports and documentation.
  • Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
