Job Summary

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with 4–6 years of experience in product design and strong hands‑on expertise in Siemens NX. The role involves designing mechanical components and assemblies with a focus on manufacturability, documentation, and collaboration with manufacturing and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and modify 3D models and assemblies using Siemens NX.
• Design sheet metal and machined components considering DFA and DFM principles.
• Perform tolerance analysis (worst‑case method) to ensure functional requirements.
• Develop and improve part and assembly drawings to clearly communicate design intent to manufacturing and suppliers.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and suppliers.
• Support and gradually take ownership of routing (piping and cabling) design in Siemens NX.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• 4–6 years of mechanical design experience.
• 4+ years of hands‑on experience with Siemens NX.
• Working knowledge of DFA/DFM for sheet metal and machined parts.
• Understanding of GD&T and tolerance analysis (worst case).
• Ability to interpret and create engineering drawings.

Development Focus (On‑the‑Job Growth)

• Enhance routing (piping and cabling) capabilities in Siemens NX.
• Advance engineering drawing best practices, including clear detailing, dimensioning, and assembly documentation aligned with manufacturing and supplier needs.
