A prominent educational institution in Ipoh is looking for a dedicated Senior Marketing & Admission Executive to drive student recruitment and enhance marketing strategies. The role involves brand promotion, content creation, and managing admissions processes. Ideal candidates should hold a bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of marketing experience and exhibit excellent communication and analytical skills. Familiarity with digital marketing is a plus. We are seeking a dedicated and student-oriented Senior Marketing & Admission Executive to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the operations that align with the company’s strategic objectives.
Main Purpose:
To assist in all aspects of marketing and admissions of Imperial International School Ipoh
To assist in new student applications and admissions of Imperial International School Ipoh
To plan and execute marketing plans to increase the overall student enrolment at the school across the Malaysian and International communities.
To support the development and execution of marketing strategies, including online presence, content creation, event management, and advertising campaigns.
1. Brand Promotion and Awareness:
Promote the school’s brand and unique selling points to prospective students, parents, and the community.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance the school’s reputation and visibility locally and internationally.
Manage the school’s social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.), posting relevant content to engage the target audience.
Oversee the school website’s content, ensuring it is updated, user-friendly, and aligned with marketing strategies.
Develop and execute email marketing campaigns to prospective families, current students, and alumni.
3. Content Creation:
Create engaging and informative content for newsletters, brochures, advertisements, and the school website.
Capture high-quality photos and videos of school events, classroom activities, and student success stories.
Write articles and blog posts showcasing the school’s programs, achievements, and events.
4. Market Research & Competitor Analysis:
Conduct market research to identify prospective families, competitor schools, and industry trends.
Analyse international students' and parents' needs and preferences, and adapt marketing strategies accordingly.
Monitor competitor activities to stay updated on their marketing strategies and identify opportunities for differentiation.
5. Event Management:
Plan and organise school events such as open houses, international student recruitment fairs, parent-teacher conferences, and webinars.
Collaborate with other departments (Admissions, Academic Teams) to ensure smooth execution of events.
6. Advertising & Promotions:
Coordinate advertising campaigns through traditional and digital channels, including local newspapers, social media ads, and international platforms.
Develop promotional materials such as posters, flyers, and school brochures to support marketing activities.
7. Public Relations:
Assist in maintaining positive relationships with local media, education agents, and community organisations.
Help manage the school’s public relations efforts, including press releases and media outreach.
8. Student Recruitment:
Develop strategies to increase student enrolment and target international families seeking quality education.
Handle telephone/email/face-to-face inquiries independently in a timely and professional manner.
Be responsible for all aspects of the admissions policies and processes, including conducting admissions tests and preparing offer letters.
Conduct tours and answer questions about the school.
Process incoming applications for all prospects, checking qualifications, the validity of decisions, and the authenticity of results.
Arrange and invigilate online CAT4 assessments and an interview for applicants; retrieve and forward CAT4 scores to the principal for review.
Prepare Provisional Offer Letters and Acceptance Letters, and contact parents if the applicant is successful/unsuccessful.
9. Reporting & Analytics:
Prepare regular reports to senior leadership on marketing performance, including student inquiry and enrolment data.
10. Student Admissions
Manage the admissions processing of a portfolio of programs in close liaison with academic departments, applying agreed criteria to make admissions decisions consistently and fairly.
Monitor, prepare, and submit related documents for Student’s Visa Renewal for International Students’ & Student’s Visa Cancellation/Shorten for existing International Students.
Maintain students’ personal files and updating relevant documents for local and International Students – Students’ Visa records (renewal & cancellation/shorten).
To ensure parents receive a response from the school on time.
Making sure all admissions documentation is current and up to date (such as application form admission policy);
Handle Paperwork for Scholarship Applications.
Provide accurate information regarding visa requirements and processes for international students.
Assist students in preparing visa applications, including the necessary documentation and forms.
Liaise with embassies, consulates, and government agencies to stay updated on visa regulations.
Monitor and ensure compliance with immigration regulations and institutional policies.
Prepare and submit necessary reports related to international student admissions and visa status.
Stay informed about changes in immigration laws and policies that may affect students.
To work on other tasks assigned by the superior and top management.
A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field is generally required.
3 to 5 years of marketing or business development experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication, strong leadership, and the ability to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders are essential.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are needed to conduct market research, analyse data, and contribute to marketing strategy and campaigns.
Familiarity with Digital marketing tactics and tools, including social media content management and performance marketing.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility and adaptability.
Potential to grow into a leadership and coordination effort.
The ability to collaborate with other teachers and support staff.
Due to the nature of our client base, we are seeking candidates with strong interpersonal and presentation skills, as well as a strong command of both spoken and written Mandarin and English.
