Job summary

A leading educational institution is seeking a dedicated Lecturer in Medicine to participate in research, supervise students, and coordinate courses. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in a relevant field and possess 5 to 10 years of teaching experience at the college/university level, along with a proven research track record. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, Master Degree or PhD from a recognised university preferably in Medicine.
• At least 5 to 10 years experience in teaching at College/University level.
• Proven track record in research and publication.
• Experience in lab is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Participate actively in research and secure research grants.
• Supervise research students at undergraduate/postgraduate levels.
• Coordinate biostatistics/public health/community medicine modules.
• Prepare ISO and MQA documents for the modules.

Research Responsibilities:

To participate actively in research and related scholarly activities & secure research grants

To supervise research students at undergraduate/ postgraduate levels

To achieve specified set of research outcomes in terms of publications, conference proceedings etc.

Administrative Responsibilities:

To coordinate the biostatistics/ public health/ community medicine modules

To engage in the preparation of ISO and MQA documents for the above modules

Any other administrative duties as required from time to time by the Dean/Head/Program Leader

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree, Master Degree or PHD from a recognised university preferably in Medicine (MBBS)/ Biomedical Science/ Health Sciences/ Biomedical Science

At least 5 to 10 years experience in teaching at College/University level

Research and publication proven track record

Experience in lab is an advantage

To be based in Sibu Sarawak or in Kota Damansara
