Job summary

A leading property developer in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Income Auditor Executive to oversee financial audits and ensure compliance with internal controls. The ideal candidate will have a Degree or Diploma in Accountancy and experience in accounting, preferably within the hotel industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and fluency in Mandarin are essential for effective communication with clients. This role is based in Sungai Petani, Kedah, and involves monitoring daily revenues and assisting with financial audits.

Qualifications

• Possess a Degree or Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent qualifications.
• Experience in Accounting, preferably in hotel management.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, efficient time management.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English, Bahasa Malay & Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and reconcile daily hotel revenue including various outlets.
• Verify postings from PMS, POS, and other systems for accuracy.
• Conduct daily revenue reconciliation between system reports and documents.
• Perform spot checks on cash, credit card, and city ledger transactions.
• Prepare daily income audit reports for management review.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
• Support month-end closing activities related to revenue.
• Assist in external/internal audit and tax exercises.

Verify postings from PMS, POS, and other systems to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Conduct daily revenue reconciliation between system reports and supporting documents.

Perform spot checks on cash, credit card merchant, and city ledger transactions.

Prepare daily income audit reports and summaries for management.

Ensure compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures, and internal controls.

Support month‑end closing activities related to revenue.

Assist in external and internal audit and tax exercises when required.

Job Requirements

Possess a Degree or Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent qualifications.

Experience in Accounting (exposure to hotel management will be an added advantage).

Proficient with Microsoft Office especially Microsoft Excel.

Committed, analytical, meticulous, accountable and reliable.

Good communication and interpersonal skills, efficient time management skills.

Proficiency in written and spoken English, Bahasa Malay & Mandarin. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin‑speaking clients.
