Job Overview
This role will be leading and executing Human Resources activities for three countries i.e., Malaysia, Thailand & Indonesia business operations. The role will cover all aspects of Human Resources and General Admin functions. The Senior HR Manager will work closely with the Group VP of HR in driving HR’s practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented high-performance culture that emphasizes on quality, productivity and is responsible for the development of processes and metrics that support the achievement of the Company’s business goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute HR activities for Malaysia, Thailand & Indonesia.
- Manage and develop all HR functions, including HR strategies, policies and procedures: update employee handbooks, develop training programs, and execute performance management processes.
- Employee Relations – facilitate employee complaints, mediate conflicts, and provide support and guidance to employees on HR-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations and streamline changes as required.
- Talent Acquisition – refine job descriptions, conduct interviews, and make hiring decisions for senior roles.
- Compensation & Benefits – manage monthly payroll with the payroll vendor, administer employee benefits programs such as health insurance, and execute commission and incentive payouts for the sales force.
- Training & Development – identify training needs, develop training programs, track the effectiveness of initiatives, and lead the Group’s Talent Management Program for top talents.
- HR reporting and analysis – prepare HR reports for Management, analyze data on employee turnover, and identify trends and areas for improvement in the HR function.
- HR Budget Management – consolidate data on employee-related budget, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), headcount cost and other HR expenses.
- General Administration – oversee the management and maintenance of company facilities, ensure a safe and conducive workplace, and uphold compliance and cost efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a relevant discipline.
- 10–15 years of HR experience.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results.
- Proven track record as an HR leader (generalist) with regional experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Candidate with healthcare industry experience has an added advantage.
- Excellent Microsoft Office knowledge.
- Experience in talent management, succession planning and development aligned with employees and business needs.
- Ability to originate and lead organizational strategies in HR with key stakeholders.
