Job summary

Tara Foundation is an education-focused organisation dedicated to empowering communities through learning, development, and support programmes. We are committed to creating meaningful impact through quality education and holistic development initiatives.

We are now seeking a committed and experienced Senior HR Executive to manage, strengthen, and enhance our HR operations across all centers. The role will support approximately 30 staff as we continue to expand.

Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee full-spectrum HR functions including recruitment, staff onboarding, and HR administration.
  • Manage recruitment for teachers, academic staff, centre coordinators, and HQ roles.
  • Handle employee relations, grievances, counselling, and disciplinary matters.
  • Maintain and update HR records, leave management, attendance, and staff movement.
  • Coordinate training, workshops, and development programmes for educators and staff.
  • Support payroll processing by verifying OT, allowances, claims, and staff benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian Labour Law, Education sector guidelines, and foundation policies.
  • Manage probation confirmations, performance evaluations, and improvement plans.
  • Assist with HR audits, statutory submissions, and ISO requirements where applicable.
  • Support staff welfare, engagement programmes, and foundation events.
Requirements
  • Degree in Human Resource Management, Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in Education, Foundation, or NGO sectors.
  • Strong understanding of Malaysian Employment Act and HR best practices.
  • Good communication skills, problem‑solving ability, and professionalism.
  • Able to work independently, manage multiple centres, and handle confidential matters.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems/software.
