We are a fast-growing startup seeking an experienced HR professional who can independently manage and establish our HR function.
You will be responsible for full-spectrum HR operations, recruitment, employee relations, and building essential HR processes with minimal supervision.
This role is ideal for someone who has previously worked in a small-to-medium company or startup environment and is comfortable operating as a one-person HR team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands‑on HR experience, with at least 1–2 years independently managing HR in a small or growing company.
- Proven ability to operate as a one‑person HR team without supervision.
- Strong knowledge of labour laws, HR compliance, and HR operations.
- Solid experience in talent acquisition and employee relations.
- High ownership mentality, proactive problem‑solving ability, and strong execution.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with founders.
- Adaptable, able to handle rapid changes, and comfortable with a startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Independent HR Operations Management
- Fully own all HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, contracts, HR documentation, performance cycles, and employee data management.
- Ensure payroll accuracy by preparing monthly payroll inputs and coordinating with finance.
- Manage employee benefits, claims, leave, attendance, and statutory contributions.
2. Full-Cycle Talent Acquisition
- Lead end‑to‑end recruitment: job scoping, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management.
- Advise founders on hiring strategies, market talent availability, and compensation benchmarking.
- Build recruitment pipelines and maintain long‑term relationships with potential candidates.
3. Employee Relations & Compliance
- Handle employee relations matters professionally and independently, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and consultation.
- Ensure full compliance with local employment laws and HR best practices.
- Identify risks and proactively provide solutions to the leadership team.
4. HR Infrastructure Development (0 → 1)
- Develop and implement HR policies, handbooks, and scalable procedures tailored for a growing company.
- Set up foundational performance management and feedback mechanisms.
- Recommend improvements to organizational structure and workforce planning.
5. Strategic HR Support
- Serve as a trusted advisor to founders on people matters and organizational development.
- Provide insights on retention, culture, and engagement strategies.
