A reputable company is seeking a Senior HR Executive to oversee Industrial Relations and Recruitment functions. You will manage end-to-end IR/ER activities, handle employee grievances and conduct investigations while developing recruitment strategies. The Senior HR Executive is responsible for managing end-to-end Industrial Relations (IR), Employee Relations (ER), and Recruitment functions for the Secret Recipe Group. This role requires strong hands‑on experience in disciplinary case handling, investigations, and IR/ER advisory, combined with the ability to drive effective recruitment strategies to support business needs.
Industrial Relations & Employee Relations (Primary Focus)
Plan, manage, and execute all IR/ER activities in compliance with Malaysian labour legislation, company policies, and Management direction.
Handle employee grievances and inquiries with professionalism, confidentiality, and respect.
Lead investigations for disciplinary cases, including fact‑finding, witness interviews, documentation, and case analysis.
Provide counselling to employees on misconduct, performance issues, and behavioural concerns.
Draft and issue official disciplinary letters (show cause, warning, suspension, termination, etc.).
Maintain complete and organised IR/ER case files to ensure all documentation is accurate, secure, and easily retrievable.
Liaise with government agencies (JTK, JPP, SOCSO, EPF, etc.) on labour compliance matters and attend hearings when required.
Keep Management updated on potential risks, case progress, and recommendations.
Stay updated on the latest IR/ER trends, amendments to the Employment Act, and industry practices.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
Plan and execute end‑to‑end recruitment activities, including sourcing, screening, shortlisting, interviewing, and onboarding.
Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline through job boards, social media, career fairs, educational institutions, and government agencies.
Partner with hiring departments to understand manpower needs and ensure recruitment strategies align with business direction.
Ensure hiring processes are efficient, compliant, and provide a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers.
Develop and update recruitment reports, dashboards, and metrics to monitor hiring performance.
Continuously stay updated on recruitment trends, tools, and best practices.

Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Human Resources or equivalent.
Preferably Generalists or Executives with at least 3‑4 year(s) in Recruitment and Industrial Relations.
Preferably applicants with at least 2‑3 years experience with team leadership.
