Senior Formwork Shell Designer

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Formwork Shell Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing accurate and efficient system formwork designs, ensuring timely delivery of drawings, and supporting project coordination from design to approval.

Key Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Head of Department (HOD) and collaborate with the formwork design team.
• Prepare construction drawing request lists, organize, and verify all drawings received from clients.
• Produce system formwork shell drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, and 3D Revit models.
• Review and identify discrepancies between structural and architectural drawings; raise RFIs (Requests for Information) when clarification is needed.
• Optimize and simplify standard dimensioning to meet system formwork requirements.
• Propose efficient design layouts that meet project needs and benefit both client and company.
• Ensure timely approval of shell drawings according to the work schedule.
• Generate written correspondence and maintain records of design changes.
• Attend coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and builders to resolve design-related issues.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience handling architectural and structural drawings.
• Strong understanding of formwork systems and current construction methodologies.
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2025, Revit 2026, Revit 3D modeling, and other relevant design software.
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
• Self‑motivated, disciplined, and strong in problem‑solving.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in Formwork System Shell Design will be an added advantage.
• Willing to be based in Kawasan Perindustrian Balakong, Seri Kembangan, Selangor.
