Job summary

A leading advisory firm in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a Senior Associate in their Finance Transformation team. This role involves delivering finance transformation and accounting-related advisory services, focusing on enhancing processes and technology. Candidates should have at least 5–6 years of finance operations experience and strong analytical skills. Responsibilities include supporting finance projects, providing advisory for budgeting and consolidation, and implementing technology solutions. The position may require up to 40% travel, and work visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting background with solid understanding of financial statements and reporting.
• 5–6 years of experience in finance operations and/or transformation projects.
• Exposure to ERP/EPM systems and other finance technology platforms.

Responsibilities

• Support finance transformation projects, including process optimization and governance design.
• Provide accounting and reporting advisory for budgeting, consolidation, and financial close.
• Assist in the design and implementation of technology solutions for accounting and reporting.
