Job Description
- Support month-end closing activities related to product costing and accruals.
- Prepare journal entries for system postings.
- Gather and follow up on information requests from stakeholders for monthly projection reports.
- Update and analyze plant expense tracking files.
- Assist in simulating product costs for trading items and new project development requests.
- Monitor and help track cost-saving initiatives.
- Provide costing information for item code creation and other ad-hoc requests.
- Perform additional related tasks or assignments as directed by management.
The Successful Applicant
- Holds a bachelor's degree or professional qualification in Accounting or Finance.
- Has 1 to 3 years of relevant finance experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Demonstrates strong analytical and organizational skills, with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proactive and results-oriented, capable of multitasking and working independently.
- A strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, self-discipline, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
