1) Administer the entire KPJ Group server infrastructure which consists of:
- KPJ Managed Private Cloud with appointed vendor
- Hypervisors and Virtual Servers (VMWare, Hyper‑V)
- Backup solutions (Veeam, NetBackup)
- Enterprise Server and Storage Platforms
- Application Delivery Solution (Citrix)
2) Provides Level 2 support for hospitals with regards to server infrastructure.
3) Part of a 24×7 on‑call support team rotation.
4) Part of the DR team that plans, facilitates and provides support for annual Disaster Recovery drills and Database Restoration Drill for KPJ Hospitals.
6) Prepare, evaluate, design, configure, install and support for projects pertaining to the server infrastructure:
- Preventive Maintenance
- Backup and DR as a Service (BDRaaS) / Backup as a Service (BaaS)
- New product and technology (Proof of Concept / Value)
7) Manage the contracted vendors; ensuring that they meet expectations and Service Level Agreement (SLA):
- Ensure the yearly planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) runs as per schedule.
- Review and analyze monthly and quarterly service report.
- Liaise with other IT personnel and vendors for problem resolution.
8) Create, maintain and update the following:
- Technical Sheets
- Standard Operating Procedure
- Process Flow
9) Perform ad‑hoc tasks as required, supporting organizational initiatives and IT transformation programs.
10) Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing.
REQUIREMENTS
1) Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Computer Science
2) Knowledge and Experiences
- 5+ Years of Relevant Experience: Proven track record with hands‑on experience in managing and maintaining server infrastructure and operations.
- Server Infrastructure Architecture & Design: In‑depth understanding and experience in designing, architecting, and implementing server infrastructure to meet business needs and optimize performance.
- Backup Infrastructure Management: Solid experience in designing, configuring, installing, and supporting backup infrastructure, including offsite backup solutions for data protection and business continuity.
- Disaster Recovery Expertise: Experienced in managing disaster recovery processes, with direct involvement in running disaster recovery drills and handling actual recovery situations.
- Cloud Operations: Hands‑on experience with managing cloud operations (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is highly desirable, including migration, scaling, and optimizing cloud environments.
- Citrix Apps Experience: Experience in managing and supporting Citrix applications and environments, including troubleshooting, configuration, and optimization for virtualized application delivery solutions.
- Collaborative Team Player: Proven ability to work effectively in team environments, collaborating with colleagues at all levels of the organization to meet project goals and deadlines.

- VMWare Certified Professional – Datacenter Virtualization or any relevant hypervisor certifications
