Job summary

A regional development council in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Executive for Strategic Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement. The role involves promoting investment opportunities, supporting investors, coordinating with local authorities, and providing administrative support. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and at least four years of relevant experience, along with strong communication skills. Proficiency in Bahasa Melayu and English is required, and knowledge of Mandarin is an advantage.

Senior Executive, Strategic Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement
Investment Promotion & Park Visits (MCKIP 3)
  • Support the promotion and pitching of available land parcels in MCKIP 3 to potential investors.
  • Assist in preparing marketing decks, proposals, and presentation materials showcasing investment opportunities, infrastructure readiness, and park advantages.
  • Participate in investment promotion activities, site visits, and investor briefings in collaboration with the Investment Promotion team.
  • Provide technical and site-related input during investor discussions to support informed decision‑making and negotiations.
  • Plan, organize, and conduct site visits for potential investors, government officials, and delegations visiting MCKIP 3.
  • Prepare and deliver presentation materials, progress briefings, and site updates for these visits.
  • Ensure all safety measures and logistical arrangements are properly managed for park tours and site engagements.
Investor Support and Investment Project Monitoring
  • Act as the primary contact point for investors during their project implementation phase in MCKIP 3.
  • Provide technical assistance, guide through approval processes, and help resolve issues affecting project timelines in collaboration with FMD.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess construction progress, identify bottlenecks, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Build strong working relationships with investors to enhance their experience and confidence in MCKIP 3.
Liaison With State And Local Authorities
  • Coordinate with FMD and state government departments, local councils and agencies to support investors’ project approvals (e.g., CCC, DO, Building Plan, Earthwork Plan).
  • Assist in facilitating joint meetings or technical discussions between MCKIP investors and relevant authorities.
  • Ensure all projects comply with local regulations, safety, and environmental requirements.
Reporting & Administrative Support
  • Prepare periodic progress reports, briefing notes, and management updates on project status for IPMC/WMM/MC.
  • Maintain accurate records of project documentation, correspondences, and approvals.
  • Update leads and status in MYECERDC.
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related disciplines.
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience in investor management, marketing and promotion.
