Senior Executive, Data Governance Policy Administration

Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad is seeking a highly motivated Senior Executive to join our dynamic Data Governance team. As the Senior Executive, Data Governance Policy Administration, you will play a crucial role in developing, implementing and maintaining the bank's data governance policies, frameworks and standards. This full-time position is based in our Kuala Lumpur office.

What you’ll be doing

• Develop, review and update data governance policies, procedures and standards to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
• Implement and monitor the adoption of data governance policies and standards across the organisation
• Provide guidance and support to business units on the application of data governance policies and principles
• Collaborate with IT, Risk and Compliance teams to ensure the bank's data assets are managed effectively and securely
• Establish and maintain data quality metrics and reporting processes to monitor the health of the bank's data
• Identify and address data governance-related risks and issues, and recommend appropriate remedial actions
• Develop and deliver training programs to promote data governance awareness and capabilities across the organisation

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience in data governance, data management or a related field within the banking or financial services industry
• Strong understanding of data governance principles, best practices and industry regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve data-related issues
