Job summary

A leading recruitment firm seeks a Senior Executive / Assistant Manager in Corporate Finance to lead corporate exercises, manage compliance, and analyze financial performance. Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and 5-7 years of hands-on experience, ideally in Corporate Finance or Investment Banking. Strong financial modeling skills and proactive communication abilities are essential, with Mandarin being an added advantage. The position is based in Shah Alam, Malaysia.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of hands-on experience in Corporate Finance or Investment Banking.
  • Familiarity with Bursa Malaysia Listing Department and regulatory requirements.
  • Proactive and independent worker with good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute corporate exercises such as M&A, rights issues.
  • Manage compliance with relevant Listing.
  • Analyze financial statements and report results.

Job Description:

Job responsibilities:

  • To lead and execute corporate exercises which may include private placement, rights issue, M&A etc.
  • To manage companys continuous compliance with relevant Listing
  • To analyze and assess financial statements and interpret the results of the financial analysis.
  • Monitor the progress and financial performance of investee companies on an ongoing basis.
  • To analyze, evaluate and implement corporate initiatives for potential investments and proposals.
  • To analyze, prepare and submit due diligence and feasibility study results for management.
  • To prepare monthly reports of investment portfolio.
  • Prepare and/or review board, investment, or research paper, where required.
  • Timely and accurately reporting of financial results to internal/external stakeholders.
  • Work closely with professionals, including bankers, valuers, lawyers, and reporting accountants on corporate proposals.

Job requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree or Professional Qualification in Accounting, Finance, Banking, Economic or equivalent.
  • 5 -7 years of hands-on experience. Preferable working experience in any combination of the following fields: Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Public Listed Company, Bursa Malaysia Listing Department and/or Securities Commissions.
  • Experience in handling corporate proposals and familiarity with relevant Listing Requirements and regulatory authority requirements.
  • Experience with data collection tools and possess strong financial modelling skills.
  • Proactive, independent with good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Mandarin language skills is an added advantage.
