Qualifications

About Us

HaloVega Solar is a fast-growing solar cell manufacturing startup located in Perai, Penang. As we expand our production capacity, we are seeking talented Equipment Engineers and Senior Equipment Engineers to support our plant ramp-up and ensure stable, efficient equipment performance across all production lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform equipment setup, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure stable operation.
• Monitor equipment performance, analyze downtime, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Support installation, testing, and qualification of new production tools.
• Collaborate with Process and Production teams to resolve technical and operational issues.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability, yield, and productivity.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, spare part control, and equipment documentation.

Senior Engineers will lead improvement projects, guide junior engineers, and coordinate vendor activities.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronic, or related engineering field.
• Experience in semiconductor or solar cell manufacturing is highly preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good teamwork and communication abilities.
• Equipment Engineer: Willing to work on rotating shifts and perform overtime.
• Senior Equipment Engineer: Work on normal day shift; minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply for junior positions.
