Qualifications

  • Advanced certifications (e.g., CSP, NEBOSH, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor) preferred.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of EHS experience in construction or data center projects, with leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian EHS regulations and international standards.
  • Experience in ESG reporting and sustainability programs.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

  • Ensure adherence to Malaysian laws such as OSHA 1994 and related regulations.
  • Support ESG reporting and local requirements.
  • Lead health, safety, and environmental training programs for employees.

Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Leadership
  • Develop and implement EHS strategies aligned with organizational goals and Malaysian regulatory requirements.
  • Establish policies and procedures to ensure compliance with DOSH (Department of Occupational Safety and Health), DOE (Department of Environment), and other relevant authorities.
  • Provide expert guidance to senior management on EHS matters and sustainability initiatives.
Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure adherence to Malaysian laws such as OSHA 1994, Environmental Quality Act, and related regulations.
  • Conduct regular site audits and inspections to identify risks and non‑compliance issues.
  • Develop corrective action plans and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee contractor EHS performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
ESG Reporting & Communication
  • Support ESG reporting and local requirements.
  • Communicate EHS and sustainability performance to internal and external stakeholders.
Program Development & Implementation
  • Lead health, safety, and environmental training programs for employees and contractors.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture through awareness campaigns and engagement activities.
  • Implement sustainability programs focusing on energy efficiency, waste reduction, and resource conservation.
Team Leadership & Development
  • Manage and mentor EHS team members, fostering professional growth and continuous improvement.
  • Encourage collaboration and innovation within the team.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Build strong relationships with Malaysian regulatory agencies, industry associations, and community stakeholders.
  • Engage with external auditors and consultants for certifications and compliance.
  • Maintain proactive communication with customers and partners.
