Job summary

A manufacturing company in Johor Bahru is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to develop and optimize CNC programs for milling and turning machines. The successful candidate will have a degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in CNC programming. Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM software like Mastercam and SolidWorks is necessary. Job description
Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize CNC programs for 3-axis and 5-axis milling & turning machines.
  • Suggest efficient jig and tooling designs to improve productivity and reduce cycle time.
  • Set up CNC machines and ensure precision machining within required tolerances.
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and project milestones.
  • Conduct first-off inspections and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Supervise, guide, and train junior CNC machinists/programmers.

Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, TS16949 & ISO 14001 standards.

Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in CNC programming and machining.
  • Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, SolidWorks, etc.).
  • Hands‑on experience with CNC 3‑axis & 5‑axis milling/turning.
  • Familiarity with materials such as aluminum alloys, stainless steel, brass, nylon, and Teflon.
  • Experience in regulated industries (Automotive, Aerospace, or Medical) is a plus.
  • Strong problem‑solving and leadership skills.
