Job summary

A leading property consultancy in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Structure Design Engineer to manage Civil & Structural (C&S) projects. This role requires a degree in Civil Engineering, a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, and knowledge of engineering standards. You will work on structural design, coordinate with various stakeholders, and liaise with authorities for necessary approvals. Strong skills in organization, teamwork, and attention to detail are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of working experience as a structure design engineer in a C&S Consultancy Firm.
• Experience in main building planning and township development projects is an advantage.
• Well versed in BS, UBBL, and European codes.

Responsibilities

• Manage full Civil & Structural (C&S) scope of work, including structural design and civil infrastructure components.
• Develop preliminary C&S design schemes for cost estimation.
• Analyze and design structural systems in accordance with engineering best practices.
• Coordinate civil design elements with project planning and engineering standards.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers for integrated design solutions.
• Prepare and review complete C&S documentation for construction use.
• Liaise with authorities for design clarification and securing approvals.
• Attend authority meetings and site inspections as required.
