We’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst (Product Ownership Focus) to support the Product team in executing product strategy and ensuring seamless delivery across our digital asset custody and trustee platforms. You’ll bridge business analysis, agile delivery, and light product ownership - an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives on end-to-end product involvement and aims to grow into a Product Owner or Product Manager role.
Job Overview:
This role combines business analysis and product ownership responsibilities to support the end-to-end delivery of multiple products under the company’s portfolio. The role also acts as a mentor to junior BAs and QAs and contributes to the continuous improvement of product processes and standards.
This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, structured, and collaborative professional who enjoys turning complex requirements into clear, testable outcomes and aspires to grow into a Product Owner or Product Manager role.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Strategy, Roadmap & Delivery Support
Partner with the product leaders to deliver the product strategy and roadmap across multiple product lines (including digital asset custody and trustee platforms).
Maintain a detailed and prioritized product backlog with clear acceptance criteria and definitions of done.
Align product features with business goals, compliance requirements, and customer needs in close collaboration with product leadership.
Prepare clear and structured documentation, including business cases, functional specifications, and product briefs.
Lead go-live preparation and coordinate pre- and post-launch activities with Product Operations and QA teams.
2. Business Analysis & Documentation
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through workshops, stakeholder interviews, and market or process research.
Translate business needs into clear and actionable PRDs, PURs, process maps, and functional specifications.
Develop and maintain comprehensive product process documentation to ensure operational consistency and knowledge continuity.
Serve as the primary point of reference for product documentation, ensuring accuracy, version control, and accessibility.
Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood, traceable, and successfully delivered.
3. Agile Delivery, Product Discovery & Execution Discipline
Lead agile ceremonies, including backlog grooming and sprint planning to ensure clarity, prioritization and readiness of deliverables.
Collaborate with Product Operations and QA to ensure comprehensive test coverage, effective defect tracking, and timely UAT sign-offs.
4. Quality Assurance & UAT Management
Lead and coordinate UAT sessions for new features and releases, ensuring business requirements are fully met.
Work closely with Product Operations and QA to design UAT test plans, define coverage metrics, and align testing outcomes with business expectations.
Track and report UAT results, facilitating timely resolution of issues and ensuring a smooth go-live process.
5. Stakeholder Engagement, Mentorship & Team Development
Act as the liaison between product, engineering, operations, and other stakeholders to drive alignment and clear communication.
Present product updates and documentation clearly and confidently to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Foster a collaborative, low-ego, and no-politics culture that encourages teamwork and shared ownership.
Mentor junior Business Analysts, providing guidance on documentation best practices, backlog management, and stakeholder engagement.
6. Ad-hoc & Strategic Initiatives
Support ad-hoc projects requiring structured analysis, prioratisation and cross‑functional coordination.
Contribute to resource planning and project tracking in collaboration with Product Operations and other functional leads.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance processes, delivery, and team efficiency.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Business Analysis, Product Ownership, or Product Management.
Proven track record in documenting business requirements, workflows, and functional specifications.
Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Linear, Diagrams.net/Visio and Postman.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycles (SDLC).
