Senior Associate – Software Development (Full Stack Developer)

Job Summary: At PwC, our people in tax services focus on providing advice and guidance to clients on tax planning, compliance, and strategy. These individuals help businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimise their tax positions. In quantitative tax solutions and technologies at PwC, you will focus on leveraging data analytics and technology to develop innovative tax solutions. In this field, you will use quantitative methods to optimise tax processes and enhance decision‑making for clients.

Responsibilities
  • Actively participate in systems design, implementation and documentation, attend to both business and technical considerations.
  • Contribute to project planning and execution ensuring project objectives are met.
  • Collaborate with business analysis, systems support, and infrastructure teams.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of staff within the team members and user communities.
  • Provide L2/L3 support to end‑users including troubleshooting and contributing to knowledge bases.
  • Able to provide guidance to juniors and assist in delivering high‑quality work that aligns with project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Continuously learn and apply new technologies, sharing knowledge with the team.
Qualifications
  • Recognised University Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related discipline.
  • 2–4 years of working experience in a relevant field.
  • Hands‑on experience in C#, .NET, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC and/or JavaScript in a multi‑tiered architecture and object‑oriented development environment.
  • Proficiency in SQL, relational databases; experience with version control tools such as Azure DevOps and/or Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful web services and consuming data from APIs.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience working in an environment that applies the Scrum framework.
  • Ability to write unit and integration tests.
  • Frontend development experience with UI frameworks such as Angular, React, or Blazor.
  • Familiarity with microservices, Docker containers, and/or Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience in development of solutions using Python.
  • Experience in development of solutions that incorporate elements of GenAI or Machine Learning.
