A leading company in finance and HR is seeking a Senior/Assistant Manager – Accounts cum HR. You will oversee daily accounting operations, manage recruitment processes, and ensure compliance with tax laws. The ideal candidate has a Diploma/Degree in Finance/Accountancy, strong communication skills, and fluency in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia. This role is located in Penang, Malaysia, and the candidate is expected to start immediately.
Oversee daily accounting operations (AP, AR, GL, banking).
Ensure accurate and timely posting of financial transactions.
Maintain complete and up-to-date financial records.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Assist in financial audits and coordinate with external auditors.
Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts.
Support budgeting and financial planning activities.
Analyze financial data to identify variances, cost trends, and opportunities for savings.
Implement internal controls for cost efficiency and compliance.
Ensure compliance with tax laws (SST, income tax, withholding tax).
Prepare and file all statutory returns.
Liaise with tax consultants and regulatory bodies when required.
