Job summary

A precast manufacturing company in Johor, Malaysia is seeking a Senior Accounts Officer to oversee the full set of accounts and manage financial reporting. This role requires a degree in Finance or Accounting and at least 5 years in a senior position, preferably in the precast or construction industry. The candidate must be self-motivated and possess strong communication skills, able to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Experience with Navision software is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts including AP, AR & GL.
• Supervise daily accounting activities for timely closing.

A precast manufacturing company is looking a Senior Accounts Officer/ Senior Accountant to join our team:

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts (AP, AR & GL)
• Supervise daily accounting activities and ensure timely closing of monthly accounts.
• Analyze financial data and provide information for decision making or business improvement to the Management.
• Compute and prepare company statutory income tax
• Cash flow management
• Interact with suppliers, authorities & third parties relating to accounting matters
• Liaise closely with HQ for all accounting and reporting matters
• Ensure accounting records & systems comply with company policies, approved accounting standards and statutory requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance or Accounting or ACCA with at least 5 years work experience as a Senior role
• Experience in precast/ manufacturing/ construction industry is preferred.
• Able to work with minimum supervision. Self‑motivated with good interpersonal & communication skills.
• Able to work in fast pace environment and meet the deadlines.
• Familiar with Navision software is a plus.
