Job summary

A prominent investment holding company in Kuala Lumpur seeks an Accounts Executive to manage full sets of accounts, including payables, receivables, and reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within property development. Responsibilities include preparing management reports and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and attention to detail are essential. Job description
Responsibilities:

Handle full set of accounts including Account Payables, Account Receivable, General Ledger, Fixed Asset, Balance Sheet Schedules and perform accounts reconciliations.

Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded and entered into the accounting system in timely and accurate manner.

Preparation of monthly management reports.

Monitor cash flow position.

Investigate and resolve discrepancies in timely manner.

Work closely with operation department to streamline and enhance overall efficiency.

Ensure timely submission and payment of all statutory requirements (e.g. tax instalment, SST, etc.).

Liaise with various internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, tax agents and bankers.

Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by manager from time to time.

Requirements:

At least a recognised Diploma / Degree in Accounting or part professional qualification (AIA/ACCA/CIMA).

Minimum 3 years' experience in similar capacity, experience in property development account is preferred.

Knowledge in accounting standards, internal control policy and procedures.

Attentive to details, analytical and good time management.

Computer literate with comprehensive Microsoft Excel knowledge.

Good written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Must be matured, dedicated and committed.

Possess initiative and the ability to work independently with high sense of responsibility.
